Pallet Jack Finder
Match a pallet jack to your pallet type and heaviest load. Fork dimensions and capacities are matched against manufacturer specs — including manual, electric and scale-equipped models.
Choosing the right pallet jack
- Fork length: forks should span the pallet's full depth so both bottom deck boards are supported — 48" for standard GMA pallets, 45" for euro pallets, 36" and shorter for display pallets.
- Fork spread: standard 27" overall width fits GMA stringer pallets; narrow 20.5" builds suit euro and closed-bottom pallets.
- Capacity: rate for your heaviest pallet plus a 20% dynamic allowance — dock plates, ramps and uneven floors momentarily multiply load forces.
- Duty cycle: moving 30+ pallets a shift or trailer-loading up ramps? Step up to an electric pallet jack. Rough yards or gravel? See all-terrain pallet jacks.
