MaterialHandling.com sells products from 20+ manufacturers, and most orders ship factory-direct. While our storefront policies ( returns, freight, warranty) apply to every order, each manufacturer has its own factory terms for ship-from location, lead times, return authorization, and warranty coverage. This page lays those out clearly, brand by brand, so you know exactly what to expect before you order.

How to read this page: our storefront return policy (15 days, RGA, 25% restock) is what you deal with — we handle the factory on your behalf. The factory terms below explain the outer limits behind that policy (e.g., why custom products can't be returned) and where a manufacturer's own rules are stricter. Where a product page says “non-returnable,” that flag comes from the manufacturer's factory policy.

Vestil Manufacturing

Returns	Standard catalog items returnable with RGA. Factory terms: written RGA required, 20% restocking fee, no returns after 30 days past shipment, RGA valid 30 days, original factory packaging required, refurbishing fees may apply. No returns on special/custom products or any product built from an approval drawing. Our storefront 15-day / 25% policy applies first; the factory terms above are the outer bounds.
Warranty	Component-specific: commonly 1 year on drive/lift components, 90 days on wearing parts; some models 15/30/90-day component terms. Claims validated technically at the factory.
Notes	Largest U.S. manufacturer in our catalog (12,000+ products, made in USA). Freight damage must go to the carrier within 24 hours before Vestil will act; shortage claims within 5 days. $50 re-routing fee on address changes; cancellation fees vary (flat $50 on some lines).

Valley Craft

Returns	30-day return window on standard parts and products with prior written factory approval; 25% restocking plus freight. Unauthorized returns are refused at the dock.
Warranty	1 year from date of shipment, defects in material and workmanship; repair or exchange at Valley Craft's option, FOB factory. Third-party components carry their own manufacturer's warranty.
Notes	A Ballymore Safety Products company. Ships FOB origin; freight claims are the receiver's responsibility — note damage/shortage on the freight bill at delivery.

Premier Handling Solutions (PHS)

Ships from	Elgin, IL (HQ) + recycled-pallet yards in AL, AZ, AR, CA, CO

Typical lead time	In-stock items ship in about 2 days; recycled pallets ship from the nearest regional yard
Returns	Our house brand — storefront return policy applies directly (15 days, RGA, 25% restock). Recycled/reconditioned pallets are inspected-grade material; report grading discrepancies within 5 business days.
Warranty	1-year limited warranty on new PHS-branded products.
Notes	PHS owns and operates MaterialHandling.com and has served businesses since 1977.

Vikan

Returns	Stocked hygienic cleaning tools follow our standard storefront return policy (unused, original packaging — important for food-contact tools).
Warranty	Quality guarantee with Declarations of Compliance (DoC) documenting food-contact-safe materials; defective tools replaced.
Notes	Color-coded hygienic cleaning tools for food & beverage plants; HACCP-friendly documentation available on request.

Notes	Electric pallet jacks, stackers, and forklifts. Parts and service support from the California HQ.
