MaterialHandling.com offers business-friendly payment options for everyone from a single-cart purchase to fleet and facility-wide programs. All online payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor — your payment details are transmitted directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.
Accepted Payment Methods

| Cryptocurrency | Accepted at checkout via Stripe's crypto payment option. |

| Purchase orders | We accept POs from qualified businesses, schools, government agencies, and institutions. Submit your PO at checkout or email it to [email protected]. |
| Net terms | Net-30 terms for approved business accounts with available credit. Apply via our Credit Application; orders over your available credit require alternate payment for the balance. |
| Check / wire transfer | Accepted for quoted orders — contact our sales team. Orders ship after funds clear. |
When Your Card Is Charged
Payment is captured when your order is placed. Because most equipment is built to order or allocated at the factory upon order placement, we do not use a ship-time capture model. If an item becomes unavailable or a lead time changes materially after you order, we will contact you with options including a full refund.
Sales Tax & Exemptions
Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on the ship-to address, using automated tax calculation, and collected where we are required to do so. Tax-exempt customers (resellers, government, nonprofit, agricultural, manufacturing exemptions): create an account and send your valid exemption or resale certificate to [email protected] before ordering and we will flag your account tax-exempt. If tax was charged on a qualifying order, send your certificate within 30 days and we will refund the tax.
Quotes & Volume Pricing
Need fleet pricing, project pricing, or a formal quotation for approval workflows? Request a quote — our response SLA is under 24 hours during business hours. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated; manufacturer price increases after expiration may apply.
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Card and ACH refunds typically post within 5–10 business days of processing; financing refunds are credited to your Affirm / Klarna account per that provider's terms.
Payment Security & Fraud Prevention
- All checkout traffic is encrypted with TLS.
- Card, ACH, and crypto payments are processed by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1). We never store full card numbers.
- We may request verification on large or unusual orders to protect cardholders, and we reserve the right to cancel and refund any order we cannot verify.
